Under the guidance of ISO 18001, we are obliged to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, sub-contractors and the public in all locations.
Workplace safety starts with the pledge from our management, regarding the policy on safety, we are committed to:
- ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations as the minimum requirement
- provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement the safety policy
- ensure its understanding, implementation and maintenance at all levels of employees and sub-contractors
- Ensure all employees and sub-contractors have received appropriate training and are competent to carry out their duties and responsibilities to implement this policy
- Review the overall health & safety performance annually and safety audit will be conducted on regular basis to access and monitor of the performance
To put them into practice, our employees do not only carry out works with established systems and procedures like the following, we ensure with our best efforts that our sub-contractors will also observe all statutory requirements that are related to their works and co-operate with the management to avoid injury to themselves and others.
- Formulate relevant and safe working procedures
- All works will be commenced only when Job Safety Analysis be completed, i.e. all potential risk area will be accessed and well addressed
- Establish a working systems and standards that adheres to the above said guidelines
